Going Grid Neutral at California Schools

State and Consumer Services Agency Secretary Rosario Marin today announced the release of California's "grid neutral" guidebook; a step-by-step guide to help California schools and community colleges cut energy costs through on-site electricity generation.

Nominations for 2008 Wind Co-op of the Year

Nominations for Wind Cooperative of the Year for 2008 are now being accepted. All electric cooperatives that are members of the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association are eligible, and there is no cost to nominate.

The Wind Cooperative of the Year Award is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy's Wind and Hydropower Technologies Program.

Requests for Proposals (RFP) from Northern Indiana Public Service Company

NIPSCO issued its 2008 RFP for Renewable Energy and Demand Side Management (DSM) for the purposes of identifying and negotiating contracts for renewable energy and/or DSM resources for a delivery period commencing as soon as January 1, 2011.
