Western Community Energy, LLC (WCE) develops community scale renewable energy projects, chiefly wind energy projects, for private landowners, cities, counties, schools, municipal/public utility districts, tribes, and small businesses.

State and Consumer Services Agency Secretary Rosario Marin today announced the release of California's "grid neutral" guidebook; a step-by-step guide to help California schools and community colleges cut energy costs through on-site electricity generation.

There are many resources to help schools interested in learning more about how they can participate in wind energy.

While every situation is different, one of the best things a school interested in wind can do is learn about what other schools have done, especially schools in their area. You can find pre-sorted search of school wind project case studies from our larger project database here.
